On Saturday, January 10, 2026, we'll be hosting Byzantine Christmas at the Grand Couteau Retreat Center. Our Christmas celebration will include prayer, candle lighting, food, and a visit from St. Nicholas! Please bring a small ($5) gift for each of your children.

About the event
On Saturday, January 10, 2026, we'll be hosting Byzantine Christmas at the Grand Couteau Retreat Center. Our Christmas celebration will include prayer, candle lighting, a community meal, and a visit from St. Nicholas! Please bring a small ($5) gift for each of your children. Our menu includes chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad, tamales, cabbage casserole, pirogis, potato pancakes, hot chocolate, and more!
Note: Grand Coteau will be hosting a silent retreat downstairs. Please enter through the front door and go straight to the elevator. Remain silent until you reach the 4th floor.
